Routes not clear. Unless you ask around. Missing lots of information on site. Didn't use the boat ride neither the tram as there is no information about it.
Uncomplicated hop on hop off. Very beautiful city with many facets Na and I also found the German explanation of what was always said good

Unfortunately, we couldn't find the entry point at Cortes Ingles. After that, however, everything was fine.

São Jorge Castle
Buy tickets online, avoid the queues! worth visiting, takes about 2hrs for a good explore, views and historic relics worth the fee!
I absolutely loved my experience at Castelo de São Jorge! The views were breathtaking, the atmosphere was incredible, and exploring the castle felt like stepping back in time. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon!
Easy and quick online ticket purchase. Loved the stunning architecture and breathtaking views. Highly recommend visiting - it should definitely be on your must-see list when in Lisbon.
The exprience was really nice but I think the best part or the castle is the view you get from it ! It's really incredible!!
I had high hopes for São Jorge Castle—and it did not disappoint. The views alone are worth the visit. Perched high above the city, the castle offers stunning panoramic views of Lisbon's red-tiled rooftops, the Tagus River, and the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. It’s the perfect spot for photos, especially around sunset! The castle itself is rich in history and has a bit of a rugged charm—lots of ancient stone walls, towers you can climb, and hidden corners to explore. It feels authentic, not overly restored, which I appreciated. You can really imagine what it might have been like centuries ago. There’s also a peaceful garden area with peacocks roaming around, which was a fun surprise! If you're into history, there’s a small museum and some archaeological ruins onsite as well. All in all, a fantastic mix of history, views, and atmosphere.
Nice experience. You can feel the history around. The museum is a must to visit. You will spend one to one and a half hour stepping up to the highest towers and visiting several other interesting curiosities.
Amazing views across Lisbon in every direction. Not crowded at all. We enjoyed walking around the walls. The permanent exhibition of artifacts wasn't very interesting.
When we arrived, there was a long queue so we got tickets online. It was very easy and fast. This way, we were able to enter the castle right away without having to do tedious queues. The castle is beautiful, there are many spots where you can see a beautiful view of the city. It was a hot day but inside there is a small bar under the plants, where you can have a drink or ice cream to cool off..

Buy your tickets online and skip the queue! Also scan the app once inside to get your free audio on your phone. The views from the Castel were amazing. Incredible fortress in its day. Plenty of room to move around the grounds
Very nice and pleasant well maintained

The castle is amazing and overs great views of the city.
Got to skip the line. Castle smaller than exorcist but lots too see.
Easy access to the Castle with our booked in advance tickets. Stunning views of Lisbon and the River Tagus. We had entrance to all areas of the Castle including the walk on the walls, the museum and the archaeological remains. Great value for money.
Definitely recommend! And buy tickets beforehand. Quite a surreal experience to see there "Golden Gate Bridge" while standing in Lisbon. I live near San Francisco and if you can't make it to California, this looks pretty much exactly like the bridge there. Beautiful peacocks roaming the castle grounds. The bathrooms are clean and ready to find. Many places to rest in the shade. You can buy refreshments, snacks and food, including chocolate mousse! The castle is fun to explore and you can climb to the top to take in the views or snap a pic on front of the flags blowing in the wind. The artifacts displayed in the museum are quite fascinating. There you can find part of a scissors as well as needles used for sewing. Pretty fantastical to imagine people of long ago using scissors. There are guided tours which I did not take advantage of but I imagine that would only improve your visit. Enjoy!
The castle has a magnificent location and is an excellent viewpoint over Lisbon. However, the castle seemed dreary, a bit abandoned, in its walls and outbuildings we could see several stages of repair. The museum, however, is very interesting, and although I understand that there can not be too much light for conservation issues, in the case of coins, for example, it is absurd because you can not see anything.

Awesome views, very well kept. Some of the best sight seeing in all of Portugal. If you have kids, definitely go, they will love it.
The castle was amazing, I am from Australia and we don't have castles! I weather was perfect and I loved watching the peacocks!
A wonderful visit! Château Saint-Georges offers a magnificent view of Lisbon, and is a must-see for panorama lovers. The grounds are pleasant to wander around, and the atmosphere is peaceful despite the crowds. On the downside, there's a clear lack of explanations of the site's history, particularly in several languages. A few more informative panels or multilingual audio guides would make the visit much more rewarding. A pity for such an emblematic site!

I overpaid by choosing the combo. It was supposed to have a free drink nobody could tell me where to get it. I was sent to every vendor. I asked at the entrance. I was only able to use the portion of the ticket to enter the castle. I loved the castle location. The panoramic view.
The castle was amazing, very big, almost like something in g out of movies!! Great views of the city and a few little carts where you can buy beer/ gelato and such. Must see if you are visiting
We were grateful to have used "Headout" to purchase our Sao Jorge Castle tickets. There was a long line when we arrived and was relieved to learn that we can just scan our tickets without waiting in line.

Nothing...We bought tickets for the tramcar no. 28 but when we arrived at the point of departure we were told the tram was unavailable, being repaired. I contacted your support department to ask for a refund, they replied that they needed more info, which we supplied at the best of our knowledge, and haven't heard back from them yet.
Huh? As mentioned above, we didn't have a tour.

It's a lovely way to see old LIsbon for an hour without steping put to see the monuments. It's not Hop on, hop off . More like an old tram with a guide in different languages. Still lovely!
This is not a Hop-On Hop-Off tour as advertised, but a no-stop round trip tour. Due to this, we ccould not do as planned
The tour was canceled due to a bomb threat in the area
