Gendarmenmarkt is a historical market square that has a traditional Christmas market during the holiday season. Close by are other landmarks like the Schillerbrunnen, Hugenottenmuseum Berlin, and Französischer Dom.
This central square is within walking distance of landmarks like the majestic St. Mary's Church, and the imposing Berlin TV tower. You may also visit the Rotes Rathaus town hall and find quite a few eateries in the area.

The Hauptbahnhof or the Berlin Central Station is the heart of Berlin’s transport network. From here, you will be able to visit the Futurium museum as well as the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart - Berlin.
