You never felt rushed. Everything was at your own pace. Bus drivers were excellent. Special mention to Stewart and Louise. Joanne did well never flustered while we stopped for about 5 minutes due to someone hitting the bus.No one hurt only a wee scuff on the bus. Riverside museum, Botanic gardens dine yesterday
Glasgow Cathedral, University of Glasgow, Celtic Stadium grounds, and the Museum along the Clyde River. Fantastic weather and the ability to pub crawl as well if you are interested.
We had two different routes which allowed us to see the town. Enjoyed the commentary both with earphones and on the live tour. Very flexible and consistently good service from drivers
Steven the driver and Kit the tour guide were both brilliant. Very friendly and Kit was very knowledgeable, energetic and funny. Very good experience.
Very good 😊, all were so cooperative
The route taken was excellent, the accompanying narration was both entertaining and amusing. At the museum stop we had plenty of time for a cuppa, a sandwich, and a quick look at the River side Museum. Loved it!
The driver of the bus was very helpful - there were 2 guys in front of us and the bus driver have them really good insights, when is the best time to come on the bus, to be able to hop off, see some attractions and then come back on, he was talking them into coming back the following day, which was really good to see. The bus was well stocked and set up with earphones and maps and bins for rubbish, it was all well thought out. The route was interesting, the pre - recorded commentary was interesting and even giving some interesting trivia facts. A really good experience, great way to see a city with interesting facts offered in a nice way.
It was an easy way to get around the city. Good information on the earphones. However, some of the places to visit were not near the bus stop and required quite a bit of walking.
Ticketing experience was good, but may be a bit worrisome for seniors who are not real tech savvy. One member lost a cel phone on a bus. At stop 1, Oscar went out of his way to assist, even staying with us beyond his shift. One driver that particularly stood out was Adrian. He was awesome! Better maps should be made readily available on line. Hard to find now, and not scalable if you wish to print. However, Glasgow Argyle Hotel had excellent maps.
Live tour guide Donna was great, lots of historical info, stories, very friendly. Driver Allan managed some very tricky roads. We took the red route first. Driver Stuart on yellow route helpful and we enjoyed the English ear buds version. Lots of fabulous looking buildings.
The guides were friendly and informative, providing history of the city and a current perspective. The coach drivers were courteous and personable as well. The experience was very positive and enjoyable.
Perfect! Great experience. Will use again. Pleasant drivers, sightseeing guides and bus assistants. We happen to have perfect weather too!
Buying tickets was fine Family ticket was great value I took my 8 year old grandson and he loved it We did the yellow tour because it went by football grounds Staff were all very friendly and helpful
Great way to see Glasgow. Excellent commentary...perfectly timed with the passing sights. Very helpful, friendly staff who made the whole experience so memorable and enjoyable. Can highly recommend it.
The best experience I recommend for anyone who wants to learn about the history of the city and the surrounding areas of the city
The experience was perfect from the start. We were greeted, given a map and headphones, and an explanation of how the hop on hop off bus operated. The bus was clean and comfortable. The audio tour was interesting and thorough. We rode the entire route to start, enabling us to determine the places we wanted to visit later. We hopped of and enjoyed a few stops and had a wonderful lunch. I love that it was an easy, comfortable way to see the city.
This slightly geographically confused American went to George Square, per instruction, but was unaware that there are two bus stops the square. If one boards at the south side stop, as I did, one misses the initial orientation messages and is unaware of precautions and protocol at stops.
Very well organised! We covered both the red and yellow routes, and it was a great way to see the city of Glasgow. Staff were really helpful when we were unsure about anything .Stopped off at the Riverside museum and it was amazing. Recommended
Good overview of the city, then we got off on the places we wanted to explore in more detail. Also took it to the bus terminal when heading to airport.
Enjoyed the Glasgow HOHO bus experience. Lovely entertaining driver on the Red Route ! What would have been helpful is that we were informed that Peoples Palace and Botanical gardens were closed at the start of the journey and then we would have got off at an earlier stop at the Glasgow Cathedral.
I recommend it; it's a great way to get to know the city, and there are two different routes available. The stops are well located. The staff is fantastic. The surprise was having a live guide, very funny!
Found finding you bus stops difficult due to poor signage. Was not told that the rceipt at stop one was in fact the ticket from there on. It was barely legible which added to the problem. Otherwise OK
Freedom to roam and visit main sites.
Great staff. Informative commentary.Comfortable bus.
Had a great time, bus driver very friendly. Loved the whole experience and would do it again.
This big, open space is surrounded by history with old, grand buildings and statues of famous Scots everywhere you look. King George III gets the credit for the name, but the real stars are the grand and impressive Glasgow City Council buildings.
