I had taken headout tour last winter and really enjoyed it. This tour was not quite so enjoyable. The commentary was not well synced- probably due to traffic/construction delays. Drive was friendly and helpful.
Clear accurate commentary. Ticket easy to purchase.
Easy to get tickets via app. Buses on time not too crowded good info given throughout the tour.
The actual HOHO bus was great, it was the experience with headout that was the problem. It was tremendously difficult to determine where the route started, I even tried using your "chat" that was no help whatsoever, I only got canned responses that did not answer my question. After much searching on your app, stop 1 was given, but only vaguely making it difficult to find. Your information was incorrect, 1) you stated that we needed to start at the 1st stop, which required us to walk a mile from the train station, this was not true (according to the HOHO driver). This was very frustrating, and caused undue stress.
All good, great to see different parts of the city. Commentary was useful but sometimes a little after the place it was talking about.
Pros: The ticketing experience was easy and userfriendly. Boarding the bus was also very easy. No stress. Bus was nice and clean. Seats were good. Audio guide was very clear. Cons: bus did not stop at each stoppage on its own. One had to look at the map and ask for it. For a tourist coming to Cambridge for the first time, it was a bit confusing .
I would have liked more information on where to start the journey.
Great, easy, bought ticket in line. Driver was great and on time, the commentary on the bus was excellent
The tour was great. Kids really enjoyed themselves.
Tickets Hop-on-Hop-off bus specifically ordered for August 25, 2024, but due to a cycling event in Camebridge, the bus line has been taken out of service. In my opinion this has been known for a long time and the date should be removed from the webshop. Would like a refund of the amount paid.
