Such an easy and convenient way to learn about a new destination. We had one day in Savannah and this got us to most of the highlight tourist sites. If we were staying longer, it would have helped us decide where to return to. Guides and staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining. Would use this option when visiting other destinations they are located in.
The trolley provided an overview of the layout of Savannah and great historical information. It helped us decide what we wanted to get off and explore. Worth the money especially if your new to Savannah.
What a wonderfully convenient and easy way to experience the city! I truly appreciated the knowledgeable team of employees who made the entire process seamless. It was a real treat to learn about the history of the area while having the freedom to explore at my own pace. Fantastic experience all around!
Jared was great. He was super knowledgeable and a wonderful storyteller.
all drivers/tour guides very knowledgeable. Provided great overview for my wife and me. thanks
Being able to get on and off anywhere on the route throughout the day, the stories told by the drivers.
Tour guide "Benz" was fantastic. Well versed in the history and stories of Savannah. And she was an awesome driver!
The first tour guide we had was Sarge and he was fantastic. I really enjoyed his information and his driving. What needs improvement is the boarding situation and with the tickets. Thing one - I had bought tickets online but when we arrived we could not board the bus until the ticket was scanned. And the only person scanning was the one who was selling tickets, so we were put at the end of the line of people buying tickets. Meanwhile the bus driver sat there waiting. It would have been so much better to have a 2nd person to scan the tickets. Thing two - I could not figure out a way to print the tickets out ahead of time which would have made it easier. I should have screen shotted them, but didn't think of that (a prompt would have helped). I took a lot of pictures on the first go around that wore my phone battery down. Then when I tried to pull the tickets back up it wanted to send an email which I had trouble getting. In the end the 3 of us were thrown off the trolley at the next stop because I couldn't navigate the website to bring up the tickets. Once off, the staff member taking tickets sent me inside the building to get help from someone who said he doubted he could help because he was brand new. But he did ultimately help. It seemed that the programming on the site took me to a screen upselling something else. I had backed out of that each time, but the guy accepted the page and then it went on to pull up the tickets afterward. This was very misleading and caused a lot of time and angst. We did ultimately get back on the next trolley and I was able to send a screen shot to my passenger so we had the tickets when my phone completely died. So ultimately, great tour, great drivers but some work to be done with logistics and programming of the website.
Didn't know about the audio guide, I'm sure it would have helped since I have hearing aids. There was a lot of construction going on. The stop nearest the Pirate House was on River Street meaning you had to walk and climb the stairs, difficult for 80+ people.
Best tour ever. MaiBell was an incredible toure guide, incredibly helpful and personable. Her knowledge of the area and history was impressive the the constant effort to assist in getting other tour busses when stops got crowded was impressive. I'd recommend this to all visiting the area
Our hotel concierge fixed our ticket issue ( rather than printing out a piece of paper to present for boarding) Thank you Hyatt Regency Consierge!!!! It was ok
I spent the day using the bus to get around town, so I had multiple drivers. All were very different but each very good. It was great to ride several stops and get off to shop or eat, or just stroll around and then catch another bus to continue the tour.
We enjoyed our experience with the Hop On & Hop Off Trolley! The driver were knowledgeable and entertaining. It awesome way to see Savannah and to get oriented with where some of the highlights & landmarks are located. It's also a wonderful opportunity to be able to get off and on at many of the places that are worth visiting. A great way to visit Savannah without wearing out your shoes.
The drivers were great! Funny, informative and so much fun! Recommend for anyone wanting to see a city the easy way! Well worth the money! Highly recommend!
I rode with 3 different conductors, very diffferent styles, but all were entertaining . I got little bits of tidbits from them so you could tell they aren't just reciting a memorized speil. Well worth the time and money.
A sprawling, lush oasis in the heart of Savannah, Forsyth Park is where locals and visitors alike gather to soak up some sunshine and sip sweet tea. Wander under the canopies of towering oak trees and snap pictures near the stunning Forsyth Fountain.
