It was a wonderful experience. I was near Naples for work, and I had a 9 p.m. flight back that day ... so I wanted to spend the day in Naples, but I was alone and I don't know the city at all. So I chose these buses and I was thrilled...beautiful the tours they make, nice and nice the explanations. Great drivers to drive in that chaos...great experience!

The Hop-on Hop-off bus drive around the coastline of Naples was well worth the price. However, there was often a 30-minute wait standing in line to get on a bus for our trip at the end of May. Bring sunscreen and a good hat for sitting on the upper level of the bus while wating and not hardly moving in the heavy traffic around the city of Naples.

After we were given a very competent guided tour of Pompeii yesterday, we were interested in the exceptionally well-preserved excavation artifacts from there and also the many finds from Herculaneum. • Bypass the queues to uncover Naples' National Archaeological Museum's trove of Greek, Roman, and Renaissance artifacts, each with a tale to tell.

There were some nice pieces of artwork and we recognize that a lot of restoration work was going on, but the museum seemed to be somewhat ignored by staff. Many pictures were not even hung straight, entrances were not clearly marked, and things were not as clean as they should've been. It was a disappointment in terms of how grand and beautiful the museum should be. (In terms of staff: bathrooms were not kept up, and no one checked our tickets as we entered.) If there were better management of the museum, it could be considerably improved.
