My husband and I purchased our tickets on-line and were offered the next time slot (2.30pm) . We were at the cascade brewery stop and hoped to do the loop which to my understanding was 1,5 hours - finishing before 5pm. We were unaware when we hopped on the bus it was terminating at Hobart visitors centre. We showed the driver on hopping on the bus our QR code voucher which he dismissed. When we asked him at the final stop why we weren't aware that the bus didn't do the whole loop, he said I should have checked the timetable I received when getting on the bus that he didn't give me. I feel the whole experience for us was a waist of money ( a $90 half trip into town ) and we had to pay for a uber to take up back costing another $20. Whilst on the bus we really enjoyed the tour and found it very informative, but the communication about the process was very disappointing in our experience.

Absolutely everything was great. Not a thing to complain about. The combo bus tours allowed us to experience as much of Hobart and surrounds as we possibly could in the time we had in Hobart. 2 day pass allowed us to do complete loops and then return to what interested us the most. Drivers, commentary and overall experience to be recommended.

I had booked both bus trips that morning through the inn I was staying at but my name wasn't on the list for the Mt.Wellington trip. I was able to get on after a bit of shuffling to see if there would be a spot for me which I was grateful for. The bus driver (I think it was Greg) was very informative & helpful. Even though the view was sometimes foggy/cloudy he tried his best to keep us entertained & finding the best viewing spots. I would highly recommend this trip.

Great scenery, and the guide was very nice and a good driver, but at times the commentary was cheesy (which is tolerable), sexist (which is intolerable) and totally negated the fact that Aboriginal people were the first inhabitants of Tasmania (also intolerable). I had to tick a box above to be able to submit this comment.

Very easy to book and find the meeting place. The bus driver was excellent and felt very safe. His commentary and knowledge was very informative although some of the Dad jokes were a bit lame. Overall an enjoyable tour.

Taking the hop on hop off bus gave us a great opportunity to get our bearings around Hobart. Weather for Mount Wellington trip was poor so having bought the ticket so far in advance we still had to take the bus so didn't get full experience but you can't predict the weather.
