Excellent comentary from driver who went over and beyond to please and help...the driver was one of the last buses scheduled on Friday 16/5 in Darwin.
Loved that the audio was there, andwe didn't need headphones. It was a nice overview of the city, and showed many cool thing.s
Tours of the Darwin Museum and the Military Museum were great. Our driver was always on time and very polite.
Great stops all around the important parts of Darwin. Great commentary.
All very good, very friendly driver!
The bus had no air conditioning or workable ventilation - it was absolutely stifling and unpleasant seated downstairs. The issue is that I can't get up the tight and steep stairs to the upper deck and this was the same for other passengers. I couldn't believe that there was no air ventilation, let alone air conditioning. Was that an excuse or just something that isn't actually on the buses. They need to be kept in serviceable condition for this hot, humid area of Darwin and surrounds. I also felt the bus could slow down around some of the 'historic' points, enabling pictures to be taken at least through the windows. The commentary was good and the route showed a newcomer the sights and orientation of what to go back and visit. The QR code for my ticket on my phone could not be scanned by the bus driver as they did not have the capability to scan - so I don't know why that would be included as part of the ticket. On the plus side, the driver dropped me closer to my hotel, given the heat and humidity - which saved me a walk from the bus stop and I greatly appreciated that.
The booking experience was easy and most satisfactory. My wife and I enjoyed every aspect of this tour.
The activity did not take place. I spent 2 hours at the bus stop waiting for your bus to arrive, and it never happened.
So informative with loads of humour and history. Driver was so helpful and happy to share suggestions.
A good script was provided. By my 4th time around I had it pretty well under my belt. But I will need to go on probably two more circuits to get ready for the exam. The quality of the driving was of a high standard. Not so, some of the "jokes" in the script. I had to block my ears when I knew they were coming up. Overall a very high quality experience.
We boarded at the number one "hop on hop off" stop, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The trip and commentary were excellent . We did have a "panic" moment because your website said we must have a printed copy of the ticket and as we were staying at an Air BNB and booked on line we did not have access to a printer. Your website didn't mention we could get a printed ticket at the number one stop. Perhaps you could mention this can be done at that venue.
Tuickrt was quick and easy to arrange. The driver was most helpful and made the online ticket translate easily to a physical one. We stopped at the museum and were very impressed with the wildlife displays, the stories about the local aboriginal people and the terror of Cyclone Tracey. We also stopped at Crocosaurus Cove and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
All aspects of the Hop On Hop Off was easy from booking to purchasing ticket at the Information pop up stand. Loved the commentating. We did the full circuit then stayed on and Hopped Off at our chosen stop. Loved everything about our experience for 1 day. Thankyou Darwin
We loved being able to learn about the history of Darwin. We had 3 hours spare and this filled in our time beautifully. Next time we will get off and explore each location
Ticketing experience easy. Drivers were very friendly and informative. Arrival and departure times were close to advertised. Narrative on bus just right amount. Not too much, not too little.
It was easy and everyone was very helpful. I enjoyed the commentary especially the story about Tiger and his missing roof
Great overview of Darwin. VERY grumpy driver in charge when we got on at stop near Waterfront but he was replaced at stop 1 by a great driver who kept on coming upstairs to tell us about things to do at the next few stops....fantastic.
We loved the commentary informing us about places to visit while staying in Darwin The tour helped us determine where we would visit and the sights we would like to see

Presenting the tickets on the app seemed to confuse the staff. They eventually found the booking but were very unsure at the outset. Neither the hop on hop off bus ride nor the Crocosaurus Cove experience were overly memorable.
It made our day very easy. Bus was at Port when we disembarked our cruise. No waiting around. Drivers very helpful. Commentary very good
Was nice and easy, went straight to Crocosaurus Cove and collected my ticket, walked around and watched the big crocs being fed, jumped on a bus opposite the Cove entrance and went for a lap around Darwin. Jumped off a couple spots and had a beer or two and jumped back on to finish the tour back where I started. Great day
This was a great way to learn about the history of Darwin and an easy way to travel between locations. Highly recommend this experience. The only downside was that we bought the ticket with the extra admission to Crocosaurus and the RFDS/ Darwin bombing museum. The RFDS was fabulous but we were not advised that Crocosaurus was being renovated. About half of the place was closed to the public. It was a very disappointing experience.
Ticketing was straightforward The tour was excellent- and punctual- loved that.
Very interesting loved the tour and Bus drivers were fantastic
