Long wait between 2 buses (2 times 1h) and the audioguide is very short compared to other competitors.

The price was great. We saw the whole of blue line which was 3 1/2 hrs. Great view of the city and short spurts of history thru headphones. River cruise was a different perspective of the city by water. The guide was funny on the water cruise. Tower of London was the 2nd day for us. We stayed about 3 hrs and did the guided audio tour. We really enjoyed it. Always nice to find deals on vacation to save a buck or two.
I previously gave Tootbus a poor review. However, they have been very good about getting back to me with the problem. Apparently the problem is with who I bought the tickets from which was not Tootbus directly Tootbus has been very good about trying to solve my issues. Beware of who you buy your tickets from.
The mixture of an open top bus tour and a boat tour was a great experience! Buying the ticket online was easy and hassle-free.

Great combined ticket for Tower of London + bus + Thames river. Of note : it is possible to embark on the cruise from the Tower of London and the go to Westminster Pier (not necessarily the other way round as indicated).
Buses broke down, route was changed, half the places we could not see, since there was no proper guidance, total waste of my money
The tour itself is very nice. You see a lot of London.

Ricer trip was great & crew superb, wonderful commentary The Big Bus tour had lots of off route time due to so many toad works around the Museum area & did not go past Buckingham Palace due to road works. At Tower Bridge there were no busses for more than 1/2 hour - staff said all the buses were bunched together. When the bus arrived it was too full to get on so we waited another 10 minutes for the next bus. Meanwhile loads of the other competitors busses went past. It's a lot of money to not provide a regular service, would not recommend Big Bus & would try another company next time
The lady at the St. Paul's Cathedral bus stop was fantastic. She was the best part of the experience! We booked online, but she was still incredibly helpful even throwing away my rubbish for me. And HOHO buses are always a fun way to see a lot lazily.
Seeing the city atop the 2nd level was great. The audio didn't always match up to the sites. Better. Communication of stops is needed, particularly on the later afternoon runs. We had to take the tube to get back to our hotel as the bus ended the route before we were back at our stop.
It was very difficult finding some of the stops/pickup locations even after asking several "agents" where they were located. One was busy on his phone and just pointed "over there "& another, also on his phone pointed to a completely different location, both annoyed with being interrupted. This caused us a lot of running around & missing busses. Also the blue bus in particular seemed to cross over one of the bridges multiple times causing us to sit in traffic for long periods of time. I would take cabs next time. Much more efficient and costs less.
Very good for getting an overview of the city when you're short on time. Signposting and map to find stations could be improved

This specific bus line, although there are many, seems to have the most stops and covers nearly every inch of the city. The drivers seem to have magical powers to get the bus through the very busy traffic and narrow streets of London. Easily a half day ride perhaps more if you ride the entire main loop. Multiple days if you use it to get on and off at stops.

Looking around London on a Hop-On Hop-Off (HOHO) bus makes seeing the city easy when mobility is an issue, as it is for my wife. We went around the blue and red loops, which were very good. We missed the green loop due to time constraints which was disappointing; the early buses were doing the loops so slowly, even though there was no traffic and stopping for ages at each stop for no reason, so the loops took ages. Late in the day, traffic became congested, so loops understandably became slow, but the early slow loops meant that our whole day was taken up on the blue and red loops took up our whole day, even though we only got off and on again twice and we got on the first bus of the day and off the last. At the end of the day, we missed the final blue loop bus to take us back to our start point because the red loop bus took so long to get around, even though it skipped numerous stops. We were thankful that we did this in winter; imagine how long it would take in summer when the traffic is bad. It's disappointing that the early buses didn't make the most of the good traffic conditions.
guide was so generous that we could enjoy so much

The localisation Of the stops is not acurate Impossible to download the app when you are French so it make more difficult to be at the right place at the right Time No other information about the stops than through the poor headphones.
The announcements always come after you have passed the object, i.e. late. The frequency as stated on the internet, e.g. red line every 15 minutes, was not adhered to. Maybe write that in the winter months the buses can have a different frequency.

Hello, I hope you are well. We had booked a ticket for the Hop-On Hop-Off bus on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and were able to start our tour as planned. However, due to the demonstrations on the streets of London, we were unable to continue our tour or take the various visits planned with the bus. In view of these exceptional circumstances, we would like to know if you could offer a commercial gesture or an alternative solution. We understand that this situation is beyond your control, but unfortunately we were unable to take full advantage of the service. We thank you in advance for your understanding and look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully Anaïs Guyaux

1. We bought our tickets on your Headout website at 10:47am on 28th January – your website said the tickets would be valid till 6pm 2. We went to board the bus at 11am and the lady who validated our tickets clearly told us that tour service would stop at 2:30pm for a company event and we should contact the company who sold us the tickets for a refund. 3. That is when I called to complain. 4. We stayed on the bus until 2:15pm – got off at a stop – we did not see any more buses after that and had to take an Uber back to the train station.

We waited more than 20 minutes at a meeting point. We had to change stations to catch a bus that wasn't full.

From where we were situated on the orange line made it very difficult to get to the blue line because of the busses only coming every hour
We waited three quarters of an hour at the bus stop (which was 3 minutes from the hotel) and no bus came. The buses simply changed their route. We then walked to another meeting point and had to wait there for another half an hour. It was about 1.5 hours before we could actually set off. The audio guide information was far too little, the music was annoying and was more than the information in total!

I liked NOTHING!!! I felt that you mis-advertised the process. I expected 20 minutes between busses. The truth was there was an hour between busses. I am glad that I realized this early in the morning and was able to us the local busses to continue my trip. I will be writing to the tourist board and detailing my problems and experiences.
Everything was perfect and Goldentours is very welcoming. Stops are very easy to find

I wait 1h30m in a stop and the bus did't came
Nothing, considering that we waited 45 minutes on Friday, November 29, without a single bus from your company, even though several buses from other UP and off companies passed by. I should point out that I was at the right location, where Golden Tour was well signposted. What's more, this changed our entire stay because we had to take the metro for 2 days, incurring additional costs, and on top of that, they wouldn't refund us. Total rip-off.
View original review in French
The route was not as described and then we were told that the journey was being aborted, and that we had to get off and walk and they wouldn't be resuming the tour for several hours. We had 5 young children with us stuck in a very busy part of central London. So we didn't have a great experience because the experience didn't exist.
Having to wait over an hour for an orange bus and times of the buses we only managed to get one bus which spending £196 for 7 of us was not worth it. Very unhappy
I hate the music between the sights. I would much rather have a live guide. Not enough time to get on or off.. bad communication on where we are so we had a chance to get off. At on stop we waited for the yellow route. We even said so to a guide at the stop. We waited 30 min and asked the guide again... then he told us that the bus just left 5 min ago. We were there the whole Tim and no bus said yellow route. Then he said it is called the museum route!! Why do you have the top on the busses say red and blue route and then for the yellow it said museum??? It waisted so much of our time and the yellow route was not even worth the wait.

Friendly and informative staff once you got your bearings gooogle maps got me lost . great attractions
I will be challening this charge the minute I get back home in the US. Your website charged me for a visit that couldn't possibly happen. My wife & I walked miles from our hotel to get to Holyrood, AFTER buying tickets for that day and the place was CLOSED! You sold us passes to a venue that was CLOSED!!!!! We feel as though you stole our money. If it is not FULLY refunded soon we will challenge it & I am very positve our bank will refund the money. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. An employee at Holyrood & another shop owner told us others have also had this very same complaint. You all need to get your crap together & stop doing this to people!
The commentary on both routes we did was very informative and the tours we did - especially Britannia - were very enjoyable and informative too
It's a great way to tour the city and see the sights. Unfortunately, on The Edinburgh Tour green bus, the only language offered was English, but several languages were available on the other two tours. Stops and directions are well indicated. We liked the fact that the 48-hour ticket period begins when the ticket is validated.
View original review in French
My experience on the 1 day trip was fine. My disappointment was the unavailable of the Britannia trip, as it was closed for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. My visit was Monday. I e. I only visited 2 out of three attractions that I purchased. The free bus services does not cover the trip to the Britannia, as it was way out of the 48 hours limit. Propose do not set the limit of the bus services, since there is possible of venue closure. Thanks for your attention. Cheers. John
Stop locations were well placed, drivers were informative and polite. Had a live guide providing live commentary on one bus....wish I had got his name since he was great.

Well, after many hours of searching for close bis stop (the ones around London Eye were not functioning due to not one but three strikes) The boat ride from Westminster (out back up plan for the time being) was cancelled. I have been very upset to not to be able to show my partner around London as well as expected. At that point he wanted to walk to the Buckingham Palace, to see that at least. From there we eventually joined your bus journey and the lady from BB Tour extended our tickets for another day. We were not able to use it for more than few hours. But at least we could enjoy the morning boat ride, before continuing our trip away from London. That was realy good experience, as the ride was comfortable, fun with one of the boat staff talking about the whole journey. Also we loved the bus ride, when we could. The London Eye ride was great, too. The problem was the inconvenience with the strike events and at that time not having live information on your app, as to where is the nearest warking stop. Appart of that we loved it.

Tower of London
London hop-on hop-off tour
Ticket booking and admission were super reliable. You should plan enough time for the Tower; this is actually a day program. The jewels are beautiful and can be viewed in peace despite the crowds. The crowds are hardly anyone's fault, as we were there too. Apart from that, the Tower is a great and really worth seeing site with lots of small exhibitions and attractions. Overall, London is impressive. You can't see all the highlights with peace, quiet and a sense of culture and art, and it's better to pay the entrance fee selectively. We would rather come back and would be happy to be your customers again. Many thanks and best wishes to the funny ravens.

Super convenient to book from home. I would recommend it to anyone. Otherwise the queues can be quite long or you don't even get in. Everything worked great and the tower is really very interesting and worth seeing.

Azacquiring tickets was very easy, ditto accessing the Tower of London by simply showing the QR codes on your smartphone. We were able to enter without any problem as much as an hour and a half early, perhaps because it was not too crowded, and we visited the site for about 8 hours, availing ourselves of an audio guide in Italian for only £5 each.

It was a very well organized place. I loved the fact that it is much more than the Crown Jewels. It is like a little village where people (guards) still live in nowadays. Amazing for children as well because of all the attractions and theatres during the visit. Would come back!
The tour was excellent. The history told prior to walking around was much appreciated. I loved the display of the Crown Jewels.
We had an unexpected free day in London at the end of our stay so decided we'd try to get to the Tower to visit again after 40 years. A quick search online brought up the Headout site where we had all the information we needed at our fingertips to book tickets there and then for entry in 90 minutes time so we were able to find our way and arrive on time with no queing for tickets. The experience surpassed every expectation we had, from the immersive information displays, the atmosphere as we passed through the buildings and grounds to the splendour of the Crown Jewels. A special mention to the Volunteers who were so knowledgeable and went out of their way to help. It was the best experience of our visit and we stayed for 90 minutes longer than planned to fit in all that was on offer to see. Thanks to Headout the whole process of booking was A1
We had a brilliant time on this trip, our Yeoman was Nev, he was funny, informative and made the trip for us. Highly recommend

It was very good The queue was crazy long - so would recommend getting fast track - you get to skip the queue and get a drink included
From the main entrance, the whole experience was mind blowing. The kids were absolutely excited. We took loads of pictures with our favourite celebrities. Will definitely be back again. I have recommended it to so many of my friends who were fascinated with our pictures. Nice place to be!
The exhibit. Made it memorable as I got to see some of my favourite actors and got to see one of the Cray twins as well as jack the ripper as well as the extraterrestrial et and got to rock with jimi Hendrix and bob Marley
To be honest I was with my friends from my country they was surprised. He loved everything what we se it inside. We recommend to everyone to visit one time Madame Tussauds.
We were very surprised that all the wax figures are accessible, can even be touched and are not separated from the visitors! We missed Mr. Besn, Michael Jackson, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. The Royal Family is the center of attraction! However, the staggered entry means that there are rarely crowds. The 4D cinema is also worth a visit. The cab ride could be a little slower for our taste because there is soooo much to see! Overall, it's a destination that was well worth a visit! The Regentspark behind it should also be visited!

It was nice but was very disappointed when I found out the penguin enclosure was shut for refurb, do I think it was worth over 70 quid for two people no, way to expensive fir what you get
It was very difficult finding some of the stops/pickup locations even after asking several "agents" where they were located.

I thought it was too busy and hot for us to really enjoy the experience - not enough big displays - we had to push forward to even see the displays and I don't think it was worth the money.

Too busy for children age 5 Need separate mini aquarium Sustainability of concern Tanks very small and sea life creatures too confined
Some of the attractions were not operational, such as the Pequin Quiz. Additionally, the security staff were abrupt in their approach.
The tour was excellent, but we were left at a bus stop at 16:30, two hours less than what the advertisement stated.

It was absolutely fabulous and the best surprise for my best friends birthday! however we were disappointed about the no penguins :( so we will have to book another train and come back to see them. It was quite frustrating as of course the penguins are on the wall and stuff, but there were no signs saying no penguins. A lot of other people in the gift shop were asking about the penguins aswell and felt slightly let down.
