Metro: Palais-Royal–Musée du Louvre station on Line 1 is the closest metro station to the museum. The museum is a 2-minute walk from the station.
Bus: Buses 21, 24, 27, 39, 48, 68, 69, 72, 81, 95 stop right next to the Louvre Museum.
RER: Take Lines A, B, or D and alight at Chatelet Les Halles, which is about 8 minutes away by foot.

The museum has four entrances:
- Pyramid Entrance - the museum's main entrance and can be used by visitors with and without tickets, visitors with membership cards, and those who receive priority access, such as visitors with disabilities.
- Richelieu Passage Entrance - dedicated to visitors with member cards
- Porte de Lions - has been temporarily closed since 2019.
- Carrousel du Louvre Entrance - can be used by groups, visitors with membership cards, visitors with disabilities, and those with tickets
- Information desks: There are two located under the Pyramid.
- Cloakroom: Self-service lockers can be availed free of charge.
- Free Wi-Fi: Available under the Pyramid and in the exhibition rooms.

The Musée de l’Orangerie is a truly beautiful and well-maintained place. The famous Water Lilies by Claude Monet are absolutely breathtaking and worth seeing in person.
Beyond Monet, the gallery also features a collection of other stunning artworks by renowned artists, making the visit even more special and diverse.
There is also a wonderful shop inside where you can find unique souvenirs and art books, and even enjoy a light snack.

The queue moved relatively quickly and the masterpieces inside were well worth the wait! Being immersed in Monet's water lilies was peaceful and transformative and moving through the myriad Cezanne, Renoir and large Rousseau exhibits were thrilling and beyond compare!

It’s definitely an experience you have to try at least once in your life. The weather wasn’t great, but the gardens are spectacular.
