Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour

from
€58
1 hr 30 min

Breeze past the crowds and time-travel back to the Renaissance on this expert-led experience.

  • Everything you get: Arrive at your chosen time slot and behold masterpieces of the 14th-16th-century. Avail both timed entry and a knowledgeable guide to better appreciate both the Renaissance rock stars (Botticelli, Michelangelo, da Vinci Caravaggio) and the hidden gems who altered the course of art history.
  • Why choose this: Waiting time to enter the museum (especially during peak season) can often exceed an hour. Enjoy the two-fold benefit of timed entry and having a certified guide who speaks your language. Whether it's soaking in the serenity of Venus or feeling the chill when you take in Medusa, go beyond seeing to truly experiencing the art at Uffizi.
  • Upgrades: Think you'd feel more comfortable amid fewer guests? Opt for the small-group option where you'll be part of a cohort of 15 or fewer folks, as opposed to the much larger standard group.

I highly recommend visiting The Academia! Our guide Ilaria Di Gesualdo was great! Super knowledgeable and definitely made our visit more memorable! One of the highlights besides David was to see the musical instruments section! Seeing a viola made by Antonio Stradivari, an Spineta as well as other ancestors of the piano was very exciting! Highly recommend! Also, the price was fair in comparison to other websites!

Our tour of the Uffizi Museum with Sara was truly one of the highlights of our time in Florence. From the very beginning, she brought the museum to life in a way that made the experience both engaging and memorable. Sara’s knowledge of the artwork and history was impressive, but what really set her apart was her ability to tell the stories behind the pieces. She didn’t just guide us from room to room — she connected the art to the people, politics, and culture of the time, making everything feel meaningful and easy to understand. She was also incredibly attentive to our group, making sure everyone could see, hear, and stay engaged, even in the busier areas of the museum. Her pacing was perfect, allowing us time to appreciate the masterpieces without ever feeling rushed. Thanks to Sara, we left the Uffizi with a much deeper appreciation for the art and its significance. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to make the most of their visit — she turned a world-class museum into an unforgettable experience.

The woman who led the tour was very knowledgeable. She explained selected works in detail and gave us helpful tips for the rest of our visit to the museum. We had booked a group tour but were lucky enough to get a private tour since no other guests had signed up.

I liked all the places we visited, each one was truly wonderful. Even though the weather was terrible, we still enjoyed the destinations. The guide (Ilaria) and the driver (Plácido) were great, super punctual. Maybe a little more time for sightseeing would have been better, but I understand that it would have made the day much longer, and it was already quite intense. As for lunch and the wine tasting at the winery, everything was pretty good, except for the lasagna, which, considering we were in Italy, wasn't what we expected... it tasted like "gas station food." But the rest of the day was fantastic. I would recommend it 100%.
