What to bring

• Carry a valid ID card, as it is required for verification before the tour departs.
• Wear comfortable, sturdy walking shoes, as the Small Fortress has uneven ground, gravel paths, and long outdoor routes that require a stable footing.
• Pack a small umbrella or rain jacket, as sudden rain showers are possible, and many parts of the visit are not sheltered.

What’s not allowed

• Flash photography is prohibited inside certain memorial areas to protect sensitive displays and maintain a respectful environment.
• Bring only a small personal bag, as large luggage cannot be accommodated on the tour vehicle or easily carried through the site.

Accessibility

• This tour is not wheelchair accessible, as the fortress contains steep steps, narrow corridors, and unpaved courtyards.

Additional information

• Meet your guide in front of the main entrance to the Rudolfinum at Jan Palach Square, where they will be easily identifiable holding a blue and white umbrella.
• This tour does not operate on December 23, 24, 25, 26, 31, or January 1, so plan accordingly if traveling during the holiday season.
• Some portions of the tour may involve emotionally heavy material due to the nature of the site.
