Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel A strict dress code applies: knees, shoulders, and back must be fully covered. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended — the Vatican Museums involve extended walking across multiple galleries and floors.

- Colosseum: Large backpacks, suitcases, and bulky luggage are not permitted. There is no on-site storage. Baby strollers are permitted when necessary.
- Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel: Large bags and suitcases are not permitted; lockers are available on site. Photography, video recording, and mobile phone use are strictly prohibited inside the Sistine Chapel. Silence must be observed inside the Sistine Chapel. Pets are not allowed, except certified guide dogs.
- Pantheon: Shorts, vests, and sleeveless tops are not permitted inside. No mobile devices or headphones are included — visitors must bring their own smartphone and headphones.
