It was really great to get a glimpse into Rembrandt’s real life! There were aspects—like how he never stopped collecting items for his art—that you just can’t learn from textbooks. I gained a clear understanding of how his artistic style and lifestyle evolved, influenced by the Netherlands’ expansion into the world at that time. The quiz at the end was also a lot of fun!

We entered on time and without any queue at all. The museum is beautiful. We mainly visited the “Metamorphoses” exhibition; the explanations were clear and accessible. The artworks were diverse and beautiful—some of them truly breathtaking.

Very well curated with carefully selected exhibits. Unfortunately, there is no literature or documentation in German—even though German is the most widely spoken native language in the EU! What a shame!
