Here are the current and upcoming exhibitions at the Rembrandt House Museum:

The 'Directed by: Rembrandt' exhibition explores the artist's use of theatrical expressions and lighting in his paintings. It also highlights Rembrandt's role as a director in his paintings spotlighting his use of 7 directing techniques in his artworks.

Unlike many artists of his time, Rembrandt never traveled abroad. Yet, that did not mean his works were any less influenced by the world. 'Rembrandt and the World' explores more than 40 of his etchings revealing his worldly knowledge and inspiration.

Rembrandt often painted alongside 4-5 pupils at the Rembrandt House. More than 400 years later, the tradition continues as 2 contemporary artists move their studios to the museum and create new works, inspired by Rembrandt's works, his house, and the neighborhood.
