Insider tips for booking the right ticket for you

  • Waiting time to get through security and to the elevator can increase significantly during peak season, weekends, and sunset hours. You can save time by booking a deluxe or all-inclusive ticket, which gives you priority entry to the elevator and security lines.
  • During non-peak hours, consider the standard entry ticket, which let's you skip past the box office line and head straight to security.
  • Only the all-inclusive ticket gives you flexible entry to the One World Observatory. This is helpful if you're booking in advance and unsure of what your plans are for the day.
  • Upgrade to the VIP Tour for a guided 1-hour tour, with fast-tracked, escorted entry and exit to the elevators, access to the observation deck, the Sky Portal, the SkyPod elevator, and a food and drink voucher. If this is your first visit, make the most of it by diving deep with a tour guide.
  • If you plan on spending a few hours at the observatory and combining your visit with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, head to One Dine for a diverse spread of gourmet cuisine with stellar views of the city. The deluxe, all-inclusive ticket, & VIP Tour include a voucher that can be used at the restaurant or the gift shop.
  • Knock off two iconic attractions on your visit. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum and One World Observatory are both a part of One World Trade Center. Choose a combo ticket to visit both attractions at a discounted price.

Frequently asked questions about One World Observatory tickets

What happens if the weather is bad?

The observation deck at One World Observatory is covered so it remains open even during bad weather conditions. For the best visibility, check the weather forecast before booking your tickets.

Are there any discounts available?

What’s included with the standard ticket?

This is definitely the way to go when visiting must-sees, such as the MoMA in NYC. You don't need to worry about long ticket lines at the site, passes come directly to your phone. Purchasing tickets is quick and easy. I did it while waiting for my Uber driver who drove us to the museum. Save time and make sightseeing easier by using headout.com .

An incredible experience in New York. It offers spectacular views of the entire city, especially at sunset. The mirrored surfaces make everything look even more impressive and unlike any other observation deck. I loved how they combine art and technology; it’s definitely not just about going up to see the view—it’s a fully interactive experience. I recommend allowing enough time to enjoy each room and take plenty of photos. It can get quite crowded, so it’s best to book in advance. But it’s absolutely worth it—one of the best attractions in New York. An incredible experience in New York. It offers spectacular views of the entire city, especially at sunset. Honestly, it was a very simple visit without much interaction. The welcome speech was great, and the view of New York's past in the elevators was also great, but honestly, nothing out of the ordinary. Obviously, the observatory is beautiful, and the views are great. We would have liked more interaction with the views of New York's past, more information, something more entertaining. We found it a bit too simple for the cost.

I booked tickets directly on the Headout app, which in itself was extremely easy, once at the venue I went to the front desk and they scanned our tickets with no issues at all. The museum itself wasn't my cup of tea I enjoyed some aspects of it but I probably wouldn't reccomed the natural history museum to others. The Headout app however I would recommended for sure! I have a few more ticketed events I've booked through Headout still to do whilst we are in New York for the next week!
